Our community relations and Public Private Partnership program stand out as exemplary, demonstrating a commitment that is unmatched across the country. Every enlisted Marine east of the Mississippi comes to our area for Marine Combat Training/School of Infantry, highlighting our strategic importance in preparing these dedicated service members for their future roles.

I stand before you as a testament to the American dream. My family's journey began in the early 1900s when they immigrated to this great nation, seeking hope and opportunity. They demonstrated unwavering courage and commitment, serving in both World Wars to protect the values we hold dear.

After their service, they returned home to start small businesses, embodying the spirit of entrepreneurship and resilience. They worked tirelessly to promote the principles of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—values enshrined in our Constitution.

This story of perseverance and dedication is not unique; it is a reflection of countless American families across our land. Together, we continue to strive for a future where every voice matters, where each citizen can share their dreams, and where we can build a country that honors the sacrifices of those who came before us.

Like my grandparents, I served honorably and am a Combat Veteran of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. I retired from serving my country near my final duty station, Camp Lejeune. I own Tideline Marine & Family in Jacksonville, NC. We added the family to our business name because, much like my forefathers, I moved from NY and now call NC home. I am living the American dream, a grandchild of immigrants who have selflessly served their country in every major conflict since the Great War. I am an everyday American with extraordinary capabilities and life experience. I am an American. I desire to represent my home of District 3, because like many, I moved and stayed in the area. It is my home, and I am ready to make it our home, the land of the brave.

Our forefathers established a foundational document that has often been subject to reinterpretation to align with the shifting priorities of those in power. It is time for us to reconnect with the essence of America’s founding—a nation dedicated to the principles of being by the people, for the people. On August 28, 1963, a prominent figure courageously articulated this very principle, delivering a speech that resonated deeply across the globe and left a lasting impression on me as a child.

In childhood, we typically lack the burdens of hatred or prejudice; we view others as potential friends, learning partners, and companions in play. As we grow, it is essential that this perspective evolves into a reality where acceptance and unity prevail.
